David Howden

David began his insurance career in 1980.  He has considerable experience in both broking and in underwriting agency businesses and is the former Chairman of DUAL International. David is a recognised expert in the fields of Directors & Officers Liability insurance and Professional Indemnity insurance.  He also has extensive business experience and client relationships in many territories around the world and has played an instrumental role in the international development of DUAL.

David was previously Managing Director of Howden Insurance Brokers, a broking operation he co-founded in 1994. David is also the CEO of Hyperion Insurance Group.
